Are there any advantages or disadvantages in Sponsoring Parents to Visit US when the sponsors status is H1B vs EAD vs Greencard

None. My parents came to US twice, once when I was on H1 and then when I got my green card. There were no issues whatsoever.
 
Actually it may be easier to get your parents here if you are still on a non-immigrant visa. If you are an official immigrant your local US consulate will bug your parents with more questions as they would think that your parents may not come back now that you have a right to live permanently in US.
