My mother, a naturalized U.S. citizen, filed a petition for alien relative on behalf of her brother back in 1990. My mother passed away in the year 2000. We got a response for my uncle's visa request on January, 2003. I am a naturalized U.S. citizen and I want to sponsor my uncle since my mother has passed away. I meet the 125 percent minimum income requirement and I also meet the citizenship,residence and age requirements. I need your help in determinig if I qualify to act as a joint sponsor since my mother had passed away. Thank you.
