I had a couple questions that I could not get clearly answered from H1B.
A friend of mine is working under H1 and we are just wondering about the scenario around if he gets laid off since his company is doing them in the near future.
He is currently a full time masters student, so he could change his status to student, right?
Also, my husband and I hve a consulting company and we are potentially thinking of sponsoring him even though we have not sponsored anyone before. What are the requirements of companies to do an H1 (we would just have to do a transfer right)? How would we go about doing this in the most efficient way?
