Can a friend sponsor another friend? Or will that go against the person applying for the visa during the application and interview process? Will a married couple sponsor be better? How critical is it for the sponsor to be a relative?
Visitor visas do not required/accept sponsorship. It makes no difference if you attempt to sponsor someone for a visitor visa, whether you are single, married, the president or intern... each potential visitor must obtain a visa on their own merit.
