Spoke with IIO today(10/08) at 9:55AM

The Lady was polite,verified my home address and said that she cannot tell me anything 'cos of security reasons, except that my case is pending. She said that they are procesing until Sept 15th. I verified whether she sees 9/24 as receipt date on her system and she said 'Yes'. She said that the audit is still going on, but cases will be processed but no movement involved. God only knows what she meant by that as I am seeing a lot of approvals since yesterday.
Was this INS call useful? No, not at all.
I guess I am here to stay in this forum for a while.

i saw couple of 10/** rd approvals today on rupnet.. what's happening? I am also with rd 10/18.. ???

yep.! that's how the IIO's at the INS reply... they don't give a clear picture at all. as though it's all ' a'la classfied.!'.

i too cannot understand their such behaviour.... as if they are working on some real secret stuff and only the elite and 'higher security' people can have the real status.. come on guys (IIOs), give us a break here.

I too have been trying to call them from past week... but in vain. so, concider yourself lucky... that atleast you got thru. well.! was it a call worth all this wait is a different thing..!

if the lady over there said that they are trying to have closures till Sept15th..... then, let's keep our fingers crossed.
