After dialing the phone for around 30 minutes, I could talk to an IIO regarding my I485 case. I\'m in EB2, ND 01/00, PD 03/99.
First, when I asked her about my FP, after checking my file, she mentioned that they received it on 3/15 (I\'d taken FP on 3/14, FBI had passed onto INS the same day).
Second, when I asked her about my I 485 case, she mentioned that they are working on Oct\'99 cases. She didn\'t predict when my case would be worked on, neither did I push for it.
Third, I asked her if she had heard anything about the regulations for job change after 180 days of I-485, she mentioned that they did hear about the law but haven\'t heard anything about the guidelines on it so far. She did mention that she cannot advise anything on it as they have not gotten any guidelines on it.
Overall, the conversation was pretty fast as the IIO seemed to be terse, non-speculative and fairly informative.
