Spoke today with IIO today with regard to gc

Hi all,

My husband got his green card on 11/24/00. Not seeing mine for a week I called VSC today. IIO told me that there is some descrepancy in my date of birth. That\'s why it\'s not approved. He said there is nothing that I can do but wait for another 2 months and then if nothing happens by then call them back. Feels like it just never ends. Any help is appreciated.

EB3, India, PD june 95, Receipt date: June 98. Third FP: 9/14/00

is it the green card you are talking about or the I485 approval? I guess your approval itself is held up cos of this date??

It is the actual green card that I am talking about. Sorry to those who are hearing this story again.

We went for the interview on 9/14/00. FP validity being expired(98 Oct)by that time local Ins didn\'t give the stampI-551, but took the FP (I-89) and FP electronically for FBI check. And gave a temparory passport stamp(I-245) saying FP is pending.

Now my husband has got the card saying \'resident since 9/19\' but my case is not even approved because of the so called Date of birth mistake done by some one!
