After dialing for an hour and waiting for 30 minutes I finally got through and spoke to a not-so-friendly IIO. My finger
prints were taken on Feb. 15/01 and FBI confirmed that they were OK and that they were sent to NSC on Feb.
16/01.
I asked about the status of my case and got the party line of "we are processing Jan. 00 cases, yours is Sep./00
and hence you\'ll have to wait another 8 months".
Then I asked about my finger print status. He said they are NOT yet in my file.
People, please comment, is this normal? More than 3 months has gone by since they were sent to NSC and they are
still not in my file. PLEASE ADVISE.
