Spoke to IO today ...

Hello all!

I, like many out there are bystanders and go through this forum seeking for answers and many are successful in getting them.

My last LUD was 6/20/07 and he informed me that my case is assigned to an immigration officer. I have seen a wave of approvals within a week or two from the last LUD. When do you think that I may get an answer? Like all of you we sit and wait while we legally traverse the maze of immigration laws. Hopefully those who do things right and as the US officials govern us, be awarded the appropriate decisions.

I too spoke to an IO and she said that my case has gone for review. Upon asking how long would it take, she replied as officers have a huge burden right now, so check back in 30 days if do not hear anything in 2 weeks.
My I140 and name check are clear!
What do you guys think...am I close to approval or ........what?

I guess NSC is processing 09/2006 RD cases. My RD is very close to urs and my name check is also cleared. But when I called IO, she told me that my turn will come when NSC will start working on 03/2007 (RD) cases.

I am little confused as your RD date is 03/2007 too and it is already assigned to IO.

Would you please explain if you did any thing special to expedite you case?

I am from pakistan and no, I have not done anything to expedite the case.
