Folks,

Please shed some light on this.. I am confused and never heard of this.

Me: I want to the status of my case..
IO: Took info.
Me: I want to know the status of name check?
IO: I don't have access to this.
Me: Is the Visa no assigned to my case?
IO: I can't tell that.. Only thing I can tell is whether your file got pulled in June or not?
Me: Yes, Please Maam..
IO: Yes, Your file got pulled in June and they requested for the Visa number and checking everything is there in the file or Not..

What is this mean file got pulled in June?
Here is history:
India EB3 -PD 08/2003
485 RD 04/2004
4 EADs 4 APs.
Lates FP Code 1 on 06/29/07
Infopass 07/02 - Told all check are cleared.

It means, you may already have a visa number assigned. Did you ask her specifically if your file has been assigned to an officer or not?
