Spoke to Immigration Officer regarding my AP status

I spoke to a Customer service yesterday regarding the status of my advance parole filed on Oct 3rd to VSC. For some reason the receipt number showed up as an I485 instead of I131. The Rep was totally confused and transfered my call to an immigration officer. The office checked my receipt number and confirmed that it was for I131 and told me that it would take another 2 weeks for approval.

Just wanted to share this info with you all.

Let me know your thoughts on this.

I don't want to discourage you but don't go on their words. It may very well be possible that you will get your AP approval in a day or 2 also.
Actually my AP's RD is 09/23/03 and I talked to them (Tier 2 officer always) couple of times by now and they always told me that you will hear in a week or 2 but it never happened. Once (in 1st week of December) I asked them that I should get the decision maximum by a month, she told me no no, you will get the decision in 2 weeks but now its more than 1 month and I haven't heard anything back.
I think they just give you a answer without knowing any details.
