Spoke to IIO

My RD is 7/03 and RD 8/23. I was told that my application is pending and they are currently processing jan\'01 cases and that my priority date is 8/23. She asked me to check back after 9 months.

Any idea as to what this means.
 
When i talked to an IIO

on wednesday , she said case not assigned to an officer and does not know when it will be assigned .
 
julyrd, check out **faq thread for method to call IIO for specific questions to ask...

If you are not specific with your questions you will get quoted the JIT and other usless info. search this site for **faq or scroll down a few pages and you should see the thread. Some IIO\'s will simply quote the JIT regardless of what question you ask. If you are really anxious, try calling again and you may talk to an IIO who may give you more case specific info.
 
Don\'t worry

This is a very common reply. ur approval is on its way. I have seen a lot of postings where they have received such replies from IIO and their cases have been approved shortly after that
