Yesterday i called IIO around 2:30PM, luckly this time i got chance to speak with IIO
IIO: good afternoon may i help u sir
Me: yes mam i want to check my I-485 case status
IIO: what is u r receipt # and Address
Me: WAC-99-xxxx....& address is
IIO: hold on
me: i see just hold nothing happening on the computer
IIO: after 3 minutes sir u r finger print is still with FBI
Me: WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!i have done my finger print last year
IIO: sorry sir i think i pulled wrong file, hold on...
Me: still i don\'t see anything happing on the computer, very silent
IIO: after 4 minutes, sir u r case is on hold because visa is not available for u i mean u r PD is not current
Me: are u kidding me madam, My PD date is Dec 1997.
IIO: sir looks like u know everything, why r u calling me?
Me: Madam i want to know, if my case assigned to the officer or not, because my case is pending since Aug 1999.
IIO: please give me u r A#
Me: i give her my A#xxxx
Me: i can hear this time key board making noise..........
IIO: yes sir, now i got u r case, u r name is, add is etc.
IIO: i think u r case suppose to with the officer.........
IIO: what i can do for u is i am printing u r case, & forward to the right department.
Me: thanks ma, have a good day....................

I think 90% of the time u get wrong information from the IIO, they don\'t even look at u r case according to my experience, they give u the generic answer. I am not discouraging, stopping to the I-485 waiters to call to the IIO. this is just my own conclusion.
