Folks, I spoke to IIO. My details
EB3, PD 7/96, No FP....
ND 7 OCT 99
EAC 00-004XXXXX
IIO said that my application is pending, What does it mean by Pending? Please Help.......

It means that it will be while before you hear from them. FIrst you will received FP notice and then yor case will get "assigned".

Currently INS is processing applications with a ND of 10/99 for all catagories. Maybe "pending" in your case might mean, it is "pending to be assigned" to an officer. Later on, you should get your FP notice. Hang in there, you should get your FP notice anytime this month. Good Luck.

Pending means that your case is ready to be assigned to an immigration officer but that is still pending. I am in exactly the same and the iio\'s response was also the same (pending). I asked him "..what do you mean by pending". And he explained it to me. He also told me that it would take at least 4 weeks before it is assigned to an officer. FYI, my details are EB2 (RIR), India, PD:11/97, ND:10/7/99, no fp...
