Hi All,

Talking to IIO was really a different experience today. She was talking nicely and willing to give information.

My ND/RD id Oct 99 and I did FP on March 10. So I asked her why it is taking so long for approval. She mentioned to me that my case is still in "area for FP to come in" They are giving 2 months to take case in hand after actual FP done. So in my case it should be May 10.

I also asked her about company name change. In my case company\'s name is changed but not the tax id and that\'s why my company is not going to file amended I140. But she mentioned that even if tax id is not changed it is better to file amended I140 otherwise case might be put on hold.

Is there anyone who hasn\'t file amended 140 after their company name change?

I don\'t think that is true. My case was rfe\'d less than one month
after I finished my FP. This is the detail: fp March 8th,
rfe raised : April 6th.

You probably are right. I told IIO that many cases are getting approved (or received RFE) who are approximately FPed around the same time as me. But then she said every case is diifferent. She did not have appropriate answer for this

I got approval on April 9th for the FP of 3/28. -- Just 12 days after FP.
I do not agree with the IIO.
