I spoke to an IIO this morning, he said my "A(Alien)- file" is assigned to an officer? I did not ask any more details..

Does anybody have any idea about this "A # (Alien) flie" mean? Pl. post your comments.

Wasn\'t your file assigned on Wednesday (09/12)?
I have similar RD to yours and same case status - assigned on 09/14).
We have started a separate thread titled "IIO Officer Assigned Case"
in this forum for every case where IIO indicated that the case is
assigned to an officer. Please post your info there
for tracking purpose.
