Got a little more info than the fact "it is pending". Here is what she told


>Security check is done
>It is in the Staging Area waiting to be reviewed (has not been reviewed)
>Everything looks fine in the case
>There are not many cases being reviewed currently because officers are reassigned to other work (special registration?)
>Maybe after next week more cases will be taken up for review.
> Cannot say when the case will be taken up for review.

Did she mention what "other work" those officiers are assigned to? Asylum
applications, EAD or H-1?

The processing speed is about 1/4 of before. I have found 15 or so approvals on 1/21 and 1/22. So it's working, just slowly........

I wonder what they did in December.
