Just spoke with an IIO she told me the same thing I've heard here that they are processing upto 8/15 and mine is 10/12. I told her thats my ND and she was confused. She implied that my case has not been assigned to an officer but said that the file looks good. RD 8/15, ND 10/12, FP 12/11, EB2-NY, EAC 02-010-5XXXX

IIO also said she did not know how they assign the casess - RD or ND??? My lawyer said it will take another 4-6 weeks which is inconsistent with the approvals I see here and on rupnet

I also talked to IIO today and everytime I called (5-6 times now), they have told that they are processing based on RD.

As for lawyers, they have a reason to be glad to see their clients cases taking longer. More $$$$.

U r fortunate. My lawyer is already talking about RFEs (RD:8/9) and suggesting to extend EADs/APs for last one month ($300+Fee per application). I still have 3+ monts before these expire.

Actually my company has paid the lawyers a lump sum for my processing. I think she is just misinformed. I am so glad this site is so supportive and provides actual facts. Also, please call me Anita

As always...they are the contract IIO....they go by the book of answering that they are processing Aug 15 RD. But if you check some of the approvals...some people got approved already with Aug 31st RD...so why bother??? just wait and you will get the approval soon....Hold your horses....
