Spoke to IIO to find out status of the case, she said its been assigned to an officer and hopefully should hear in 1 month or so. I
am worried as I am seeing cases that are getting approved that have been applied at the same time as mine....

Yesterday I also got INS officer answer which is the same as another INS officer one month ago:
"you can get result in one month"

I think they say one month so that they do not receive calls from us for atleast a month. But actually all Feb/March cases where PD is current should be approved/RFEd within days.

I dont know how much we can rely on their answers. I had called up and got the same answer (3-4 weeks) and infact this is my 3rd week, but no news yet. Guys relax and dont raise your hopes too much.

hello,
I spoke with an IIO. She mentioned my case is assigned to an officer around 3rd week of April. I may hear in another two weeks.
This give me a better hope compared to a few months back, when i was wondering when they even assign to an officer (in years).
