Spoke to BCIS

Just finished talking to National Service center. I called because my RD is 1/31 which makes my case one of the 540+ days cases.

According to them, the estimated time to process I-485 cases has been revised to 19 months. Looks like now there is no point calling them again before 1st Sept.

Looking at the approvals, of course, 19 months seems far from reality because we have seen approvals from Feb.

Anyone has an idea about 02-099 series?

I wonder if there is any redressal mechanism available for these overdue cases. From BCIS point of view, if the estimated processing time is 19 months I can not complain.

But you , with 19 agonizing months under your belt, have every right to call them.

I am working on mounting the wall of silence, but it demand a lot of creativity.

One lucky day, when I am done, I will update the forum on the process.

620 days and counting...

Close to 22 months now. Called BCIS a few days back, but it does not change anything.
I'm thinking about filing for my 3rd EAD soon. :-(

Not to disappoint you, but what I found is when BCIS pass to another month remaining all guys in the queue in the last month either get RFE or FP notices. I have seen the people waiting more than 24 months.

I passed 22 months successfully.

It looks like your FP expired

I expect it in the nearest future, which will at least mean that my file is not shredded ;)

During 5 years of wait, today was the first time I called them and 2 hours later got a call from lawyer's office about 2nd FP notice.

Any idea about AP processing time these days?

I don't get the idea/correlation between what you're referring to as "BCIS revenge" and 2nd FP notice.

If the lawyer called you within 2 hours after you hung up with BCIS to tell you that they HAD Received the 2nd FP notice, the 2nd FP notice could have been issued last week! How could you qualify this as a "BCIS revenge". Did the lawyer office receive a fax from BCIS (that was sent WITHIN those 2 hours) or something?? Hello?????
