I applied for extension of my H-1B status and received Split Decision stating that my request od extension will deny but H-1B classification will be approved by USCIS and I must obtain H-1B visa at the consulate abroad. therefore I have to leave the US and go to the consulate abroad to receive H-1B.
Is that a trick of USCIS to get rid of me? If I leave the contry what are the chances that I would receive H-1B at the consulate? Please help me, guide if you know what to do. Can I appeal on the decision to extend my current H-1B?
