Sperate biometrics for I-765 & I-485?

I have applied I-485 few months ago and have the interview in June, however, my case is still pending because of the delay in name check. So I applied I-765 (EAD) a week ago, and yesterday I received the receipt said my next step is to have my biometrics taken.

I have already done the biometrics 3 months ago for my I-485. Do i need to take the biometrics test again for my I-765 (EAD) application?

We (the whole family) had our FP today. I asked if this FP was valid for 765 too, but I was told I should get another notice with the appointment specific for that.
