Speeding up Advance Parole

Folks,
Is there any way to obtain advance parole immidiately based
on urgency. I beleive it takes 8/9 months in NSC for AP..that
is a long time.

What options are there for emergency travel while parole is still pending ?
 
Your local center may help

I believe incase of emergencies, you can go to the local service center close to your home town and get APs. This only applies to emergency situations. Good Luck.
 
Status Message for AP

Here is the status message as per uscis online. Can you confirm this infact is AP ? It says 8/9 months! I don't know what is goiing on at NSC.

Your I131 APPLICATION FOR BCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT was received on July 29, 2004. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 240 and 270 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete.

My understanding is that this is a standard message that is true for advance parole applied by people in all type of categories, including refugees and existing PR's. The processing dates indicate that EB based AP are taking under 3 months at NSC.
