i have a speed ticket.paid.
I answered YES to question 16 "Have you ever been cited...?" because the speed ticket is a citation,

but what does this mean?
"Outcome or disposition of the citation: no charges filed, charges dismissed etc."

I swear I do not know if I have charges filed or charges dismissed, gosh...

thanks

If its not DUI and fine is under $500 then you are fine. Try to get record of fine paid or letter of disposition from the county court where you paid fine. Lot of ppl mentioned it on application (which is right, you don't want to lie) and got their USC.

I wrote Paid fine $$$$, that's all

From what people have been saying that wrote anything in that box like Paid fine, then at the time of the interview they needed to prove it was paid with a court reciept. I left it all blank on mine...

If there is no arrest better check the box NO.. when u have ur interview day and IO will ask u about the ticket tell yes and show ur reciept... do ur judgment think the best... be honest infront of IO during your interview..

IO never asked me about any tickets. Just asked if I had ever been arrested or in court. I told him I was in court 2 times. He asked why and I told him for 2 speeding tickets (at the time all tickets were mandatory court dates). He just wanted to know if they were DUI or not. Since they weren't he moved on. If I had put down I had those on the N-400 then I would have to show reciepts.

So they won't ask if you've had speeding tickets, but will ask if you've been arrested...
