I used be be an H1-B holder, now I have applied for my GC thru marriage, I've already been interviewed, but I am waiting for the namecheck to go through. For some unknown reason, I was born in Pakistan, meaning, I had to go through the special registration crap every time I left the country. Anyways, I am planning on visiting my family outside of US for the first time since I applied for my GC. Now that I am an AOS applicant, does anybody know if I still have to go through the special registration BS? I checked their websites, they don't seem to have a clear answer on that.
