special registration after green card

For special regestrant , After getting green card do they still go for departing registration when leaving for a trip outside USA.

How do you get that registration cleared, that one will still show a person on visa from SR country is in US.

Any experience, thoughts.....comments.

I believe Special Registration is only for non-immigrant ppl. once u got GC your status is changes to immigrant. so no need for registration and inform them before leave country.........

is there anyone else like to share ?
