SPAM: URGENT - H1 to F2

I know this is not the right place to post this question but since I know this place so I am stating from here.

What are the options for my friend to be in valid status?

He is having valid H1 until 14th of this month and his wife is on F1. After 14th his H1 will be expiring.
Can he be on F2 if yes then how and how soon ?

Any input will be appreciated.

ask the wife go to the international student office at her school, and bring all the document. It should be not very complicated. They need an endorse on her I-20. Then next time when the husband go home, he has to apply F-2 visa. However, this is not my first hand experience. Go to the ISO is the least required.
