Just to give some food for thought for people who are bored with
checking their case status n times everyday.
India has Sikh prime minister (I personally consider sikh to be hindus) and muslim president. Can you think of the time if and when USA would have african american or hispanic president ?
This proves to show that Hindus as a people are very tolerant and hinduism
by nature is pluralistic and democratic in that it lets people worship God
in many forms without excluding them from hinduism. This is in contrast
to lots of other so called religions of today (whose names we would better
left unmentioned) that only seem to spread hate and violence in the name
of religion. Most of these so called religions are exclusivist, in that they
have a strict defination of who can be part of their so called narrow minded
view of religion.
Someone recently had a thread here that said "why India is dirt poor",
this person needs to remember that everything that glitters is not gold.
Point is that there are many places in the world today that are gilttering with material things but are lacking in so many basic aspects of civilization.
India has had these basic aspects of civilization for thousands of years.
These include respect for all forms of life and a inherent belief
that there are many ways to worship the same God.
