My memory tells me that Soumy had said in his/her thread that he/she knew the japanese lady's (BCIS officer) e-mail....

How about sending her an e-mail now and asking her why the approvals have not picked up after Oct 1?I am sure she will say that it will happen after the audit but i feel that we need a hope to hang on to so that we can "look forward to a flood of approvals" with a future "land mark" date.
If Soumy is not gonna do this then i am going to start a rumor saying that I met a BCIS officer(probably a good looking woman) in my gym and then we started talking over a coffee.......and then the story goes on....unless Soumy has a better idea for me.Hey..i want to give hope to my fellow immigration portal members too!!

BTW : I have no business posting rumors didn't expect this from you. If you can PM me your email I can BCC you on the email. This is really hurting , After this I dont want to post anymore.Also I request all of you to stop Personal attacks for no rhyme or reason. Everybody has emotions.

C'mon you guys! Give Soumy a break!

It seems as if you are holding Soumy personally responsible for the lack of processing. You are ALL aware of BCIS/INS lethargy and inertia, it takes time for the bemoth to move. Why take it out on Soumy? All she did was update us with information she heard. If it is wrong, I would blame the informant as compared to the messenger who gave us the news.

All that apart, ECGC you don't seem to be inclined to give the process some time to come to fruitation. The Audit just got over, so if the case officers are back on track, it is still going to take time to run through all the papers and THEN start issuing approvals which will still take time to reach the applicants.

So take it easy you guys! We are all here to help and SUPPORT each other. Don't tear into each other. The bottom line is, take information at your own risk. If you like it, believe it, else let it pass. There is no call for these personal attacks!

Soumy, THANKS for giving us the information, you are NOT responsible if INS doesn't carry out its own agenda. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You also don't have to prove your honesty to anyone. So no need to BCC people, your word is enough. Besides I wouldn't even email this INS adjucator wrt her work/approvals, you could get her as well as yourself into trouble. Above all, Please don't stop posting on account of some people.
 
Hold On guys

I think what the officer/soumy said is correct. The officers needs time and thay have to atleast issue second FP if not RFE before appoval. There were lot of second FP issued.
Hope in about 2 weeks we see lot of approvals.

The generic framework of Audits has always been last week of September through the first week/two weeks of October. Calculated guesses based upon experience and prior press releases.

Are you 'trying' to be offensive to Soumy or are you "like that only?" You can't seriously expect to hold Soumy responsible for what some minor cog in the big fat wheel called INS, told her in passing. There was no call to demean her or her information.
 
Its a public forum and one can post any thing as long as its related to immigration.

The responsibility lies on the reader to judge whether some thing is true or not. I dont think any body in this forum wants to feed misinformation deliberately.

There are few exceptions though,

1. Those advertising that GC is in months away if you join their company. :D
2. And BCIS agents if there are any :cool:

So you are "guessing" that the audit is over based on prior years' info, right? just wanted to clear that.

Regarding Soumy, i think he/she is a grown up boy/girl and can defend herself/himself against any questions that others post for him/her(not that what i posted was "that" offensive anyways).
Are you now a self appointed spokes person for Soumy or you stick your neck out for anyone, like Robinhood? Seems like you want to keep this issue burning by pretending to be an advocate. My question to you was direct and it would have been nice to end your answer with your first sentence, which was a direct answer.Thanks anyways.
 
I-140 is right, Soumy shouldn't be sending out that e-mail and specially marking a bcc to ECGC. this might lead Soumy as well as that lady into BIG trouble.
 
i dont believe there was any need to doubt what any other memeber fo this forum posted. Soumy did a great job of talking to the officer in detail.

Dont let this get too nasty guys..

Obviously you are smoking something good dude! The last I checked this was an open forum, where people could post opinions. You posted yours, which sarcastically called into doubt Soumy's information. And I disagreed so posted a rebuttal. If my post makes me an advocate, does your signify that you are the natural born prosecutor?

As far as putting my neck on the line, din't know you took on the responsibilities of being a part time executioner in addition to that of prosecutor! (Hope you are working on EAD dude, you know H1 doesn't allow you to work on two jobs at once)

As far as a direct answer from me is concerned, you are right I should have stopped it right with the first paragraph. But I couldn't interpret the tone of your question, whether it was a sarcastically posted or just direct. I considered it as option one and hence the defence. If it was option two, then I apologise for both my initital post as well as the offensive tones in this one! I have no interest in keeping this thread burning, last post from me on this one.
