RFE Details

The called my wife to check the receipt nos and it turns out that the rfe is for me.
I am planning to keep the following documents ready

W2k - last two year
Tax filing forms - last two years
Pay stubs - last six months (Not sure whether I can find them)

What is the alternative if I could not find the physical paystubs. Will it be okay to sent the bank statements showing the salary direct deposit.

Question? - RFE for dependent application (RD Feb 15th)
HI All,

I was checking online status for my wife and me. The status on my case (primary applicant) remains unchanged (FP rec'd blah blah), however in my wife case it says that they have requested for additional information on Aug 18th. Just wondering what that could be.

She was out of status for five months (h4 was not renewed along with h1) then she went to India got stamped and came back. We got her Birth Certificate from her home town before applying for 485. I'll post the info once I get it.

Question : Does this mean that my case is also touched?

Check with your company..

.. if they have copies or duplicate paystubs.
I know my company have copies with them.

We are trying to find all the paystubs atleast for the last six months. I am sure I have last three of them. I'll contact my company Tomorrow.

Got the RFE

Received the RFE from my Attorney's office.
They asked for the following

1. Submit an original letter on company letterhead from your current employer stating your date of hire, duties, renumeration and prospect for continued employment.

2. Submit your earning statements for the last two months.

3. Please submit your federal income tax returns, including all schedules and forms W-2 and /or Forms 1099, for the last two years.

4. Please submit a legible photocopy of all pages of your most recent passport.

Checked with my attorney's office regarding the salary difference. Right now I am drawing 20K more than what is originally mentioned in the LC. According to them as long as you are making atleast the amount specified in the original LC you are okay.

I have submitted my federal tax return forms along with my I-485 application (for year 2001).

I am with the same employer and client from the begining of the GC process.

How long is it taking for approval after submitting all the documents.
