I have a peculiar case:
My wife and my cases were approved on 10-11 and the same day my son's(4yr old) AVM said that a welcome notice was mailed. Received all 3 notices. Went for stamping on 25th and stamped all 3 passports.
Stamped son's also even though not required as welcome notice was mailed. On 18th his AVM had said cards ordered.
(Had seen some threads here which said that Indian immigration guys needed to be bribed as they value a passport stamp more than a plastic card).
Just checked the online status and avm yesterday and was surprised that for my son it changed to Case approved on 10-23 and approval notice mailed.(A step back)
My thoughts-Cards were ordered on 10-18 but the order could not be processed maybe due to old photo or signature problem hence they want to stamp the passport and then order fresh cards.
Anyway I had already stamped his passport along with ours and submitted pictures and I signed for him on the form on 10-25
Any thoughts??????
