Son's 485 pending - Worried

To all Gurus and any one who have gone thur this problem.

Mine, Wife and younger son (12yrs) 485 was approved on Nov 16. 2004. My elder son (15 yrs) completed FP and I have still not recd any approval. On line status say on Sept 17, 2004 we mailed you for further evidence. I recd the letter and say case Service consideration. Called customer service and put an inquiry.

Question :
1. Does my elder son require passport stamping or will he recd GC directly as my younger son.
2. Myself & my wife are schudule for Dec 06 2004 for passport stamping. Do I take my elder son alongwith me for stamping if required.
3. How long does it take for chid to approve.

Worried . Please advice or steps to be taken..... thanks in advance

My eldest is 15 also and needs the stamp before the green card. Keep asking what the RFE is and when they sent it and to who. You’ll need to answer it before they will approve – after that it is straight forward – you may be pushing it to get it done by 6th December though – take him along anyway and you may get a sympathetic INS person to stamp it!
