Son with Autism

I am married to a USC and we are about to start the immigration process for myself and my 14 year old son. The USC is not his father, but step-father.

My son has Fragile X Syndrome which is a form of Autism.

Is this going to cause problems with the process? He cannot sign for himself and wouldn't understand questions etc if interviewed.

Does anyone have any information or experience with this?

Thank you

You should get a letter from his doctor explaining his condition and the fact that he cannot sign or answer questions. The experience that I had and most people in this forum had indicates that the Immigration Officers are very professional and understand our situation.
