Something Strange........ Please help

Hi All,

My GC was approved in June last year. I received the card within a month. Everything was fine.

My wife's I485 was applied after 6 months of my application initially.

Now her ND/RD is Sep2002

So she enquired about the status and progress last week.

Yesterday, for some reason, my LUD changed to yesterday but hers is still the same old,

What i find strange is that

Why my LUD changed?(but the message is still the same old, only LUD changed.)

Nothing on her LUD.

What could this mean?

What must have got updated on my case and not hers? is this normal? Any thoughts?

Status check on your wife's case

could have triggered a check on your case since she is a derivative and you are the primary applicant. Expect a response to the inquiry from USCIS soon.

The message has not changed because this could be just a check and no real action on your case.
 
I would not worry about this. I agree with the previous post that USCIS may look into the major applicant (even approved) case before making a decision on a derivative application. Consider this a positive sign as the USCIS may have started reviewing your spouse application. And Good Luck!
 
Her FP has expired

My Wife's FP has expired long time ago. So hopefully they might consider sending her a new FP notice. Hope LUD would change when they finally send it

Any thoughts?
 
Well, I were you. I would try to go to the local INS center and see if you can convience them to get FP printed. Try, see what happens.
