I ran the scanner last night at around 9:00PM(PST). There's a new approval on 5/13/2003 in WAC-03-130-5xxxx series.

How do u know the approval happened at 9pm, it could have happened earlier.

Did u run it before 9pm and see there are no approval and then run it again at 9pm to find an approval??

These seem to be I-90 approvals. Can somebody confirm?

Stain's explanation is the best. I somehow strongly doubt, any case officer will be burning the midnight oil. If that was true, we wouldn't have such huge backlogs.

You are kidding right? WAC-03-130-5xxxx 485 approval? The person and INS will be eaten alive by the 01/02 community. junior_member usually runs scans on EAD's not 485, check his previous posts/threads.

Sorry folks,

its not 485 its EAD scan. I ran the scanner at 9:00 PM last night there were 2 approvals on 5/13. I just ran it again and there's 1 new approval on 5/13.

Ask a scanner veteran, approval changes never come during the day, and there seems to be a lag before they are updated into their database, .. so it isn't realtime.

Frankly I'd be happy to see someone at INS just WORK .. forget overtime.

Not sure how right that is, to delete messages on the fly. Smacks of muzzling to me. Better to give 1amShantanuB a chance to delete it himself after posting a message to him asking him to do so. If he fails to respond for whatever reason then it is okay to delete the message.

Deleting other peoples messages should only be done as a last resort and not lightly! There are well established rules of posting. Flaming and sarcasm are permissible to some extent.

When this happens the question that arises is, who will police the police?
