Some simple questions to submit application package

Different Friends and Experts,
I am going to file my N-400 soon from San Jose and want to double check some issues with you. Thank you for your help and time.

My understanding is that I need to send FOUR items

1. completed N400
2. the copy of both sides of my greed card
3. 2 Pictures of mine
4. 390.00USD

To:
USINS California Service Center
Attention N-400 Unit
P.O. Box 10400
Laguna Niguel, CA 92607-1040

My questions:

1. My above understanding is correct ( I am on the basis of 5 years residence-EB2)?
2. I used the fillable PDF file (N-400), should I print it in two sides of a page or single side? Should I staple all pages using stapler?
3. both sides of my greed card should be copied in one page?
4. Should I put my two photos in a small envelope?
5. Personal Check is okay? why the Guide requires to write A number in the back of the check instead of the front check. My understanding is that the back of a check is reserved for signature and financial institute.

In addition, I have put my traffic ticket (once) information with Check Item 16 (yes) in Part 10. Also, I am a member of IEEE so I Check Item 8 (yes) in Part 10.

I printed on single side and also, I used a paper clip rather than staple them.

Mine were on different sides

I put my photos into a small clear photo plastic bag (?)

YOu just have to do what you are instructed. i.e. write the A number on the back of the check. Personal check is acceptable.

I also suggest you to mail it using USPS express mail with signature confirmation (or priority mail with signature confirmation).

If your application gets there earlier, you will have an earlier PD. everyday counts, even thought it might not make a big different. But spend a bit more and you can make sure it reaches there in next business day.

My understaning is that it will be fine just simply to list the name of the organization (say IEEE)
