Some questions

Hi all freinds

I have some questions:
1- I have won DV2006 with Number AS00002xxx. I am going to marry before sending documents. In this case must my spouse be present at interview?
2- If I apply single and got GC, can I bring my spouse to US later with another visa type and after 5 years apply for GC?
3- How much money (US$) is enough for satisfying evidence of support for each person?

Thanks for your help.
Regards,

Get married and inform KCC expecially by Email before sending the files, so that you will know if you will need to print out or do a photocopy of her own forms and send it to KCC along side yours (which is more better and faster for you) ( am sure you will be intructed to send marriage cert. bla...bla..bla.) . Make sure you have a printout of KCC reply and instruction with you, so that you will be able to defend you action b4 your local US embassy.
Your spouce will be present at the interview (must if you have inform KCC about your marrige.
;)

Yes it i think you can later bring her with other visa and apply for GC for her latter. But i dont alway advice pple to do that !!!! because laws changes, processing changes etc.
Let her get it along with you Now and forget about it. (The social life take over pple (singles in US ) faster than you think.

I thinks $10,000 for each person

thanks

Pray AF become current in Sept and Nigeria not restricted again.
i want my # to be current and i want to get the GC.

Dear adesoji
Thanks for your responses.

For the first time, when we must provide some documents like birth certificate, evidence of support, ... for consular officer, is it necessary that my spouse be present at embassy?
For getting the final GC, I know that my spouse must be present.

I hope and pray your # to be current and you get the GC.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Rima,
I do not think so that your husband should be present while you go submit your document. but yes he should be with you while you go for the interview.
