some questions about I-485 documents

I\'m preparing the documents for I-485. I just received the check list from my lawyer, where it indicated only 3 photos for I-485 and I-765. I thought that each one (I-485 or I-765) needs 2 photos. I\'m right or my lawyer? Also, in his list, no requirements for passport copy and degree certificate. Is it true?

You are right - you need two copies for each form you submit(485, 765, 131)..
Passport photocopies are not mandatory but better provide them to avoid any RFE down the road.. Transcripts/certificates usually not required..

Send the degree certificates as well as all the pages of passport

to avoid any potential RFEs. It\'s just $5 for postage, but it saves lot of headache after filing I-485.
