Hi,
I am a naturalized citizen and want to file GC appliction for my wife, but I found there are some questions on I-130, G-325A, I-485 forms are not very clear. Could someone help me on these questions.
1) On Form I-130 B. Information about you question # 10 ask for Alien Registration number. Should I fill in the A# on my old green card, on should I just fill in "N/A" since I am not an alien anymore ?
2) On Form G-325A I need to fill out
A) Is File Number IS actually the Alien Registration number?
B) What should I select on question " This Form is submitted in connection with application for". Should I select "Status As Permanent Resident" or "Others". Since I apply GC for my wife, I myself is not apply for Permanent Residency, should I fill in "others"?
3) On form I-485, Part 2 Application Type, what should I select. Obviously, it is not choice a, since the petition has not been approved yet. Should I select "Others"?
4) On application for Employment Authorization, question 15, Current Immigration status, should my wife fills in her current status F-1 or should she fill in "Pending adjustment of status", since She is actually applying EAD based upon the GC application?
I am great appreciated if someone can answer any of the above questions. It will be a big help.
