Some questions about 485 approval

My case details are:-
140 and 485 concurrently filed in July 2004 at NSC
FP: March 2005
140 approved: May 2005

I have the following questions to ask:-

- Any body has any idea how long will I have to wait for 485?

- I paln to travel back to my home country for about 6 weeks. In my absence if INS asks for further information or approves/disapproves 485, can I still enter USA using my Advance Parole?

Thanks in advance!

If they ask for furthor info OR if they approve, then you can enter on AP. However if it gets rejected, you cannot use AP to enter. So if you feel you are close to a desicion, it will be best to postpone your trip.

But how long will it take?

Thanks Setra. The problem here is I have no way to predict how long will it take to get the decision on I485. Some folks who filed concurrently have got it soon after their I140 approval but there is no set rule for everyone. USCIS case status doesn't help much either!

Second fingerprinting

My I-140 (EB1-B) was filed with NSC in 2002, approved in late 2003. I-485 was filed Dec 2003. First fingerprints (of all fingers) were taken in June 04. Second set of fingerprints (fingerprints of one finger only) were taken with photographs and signature on June 8, 2005. Fingerprint people said that the photographs are the final ones for the physical green card, and volunteered information that they think the case is already approved, based on a "code 2" in the box on the second line of the fingerprint request notice from USCIS. They also thought I could try to get our passports stamped at this point. Is this correct? Website says nothing.

I need to travel out of the country this summer. Any difficulties with that? Would appreciate any advice or experiences that anyone can share :)
