Friends,
You know government people are all same everywhere in any country to go. so hope AC21 comes out in our favour. I'm one of them so eagerly waiting!!!
HTH,
Chat User : Attorney Murthy, when is the memo for AC21 I-140 revocation expected from the BCIS?
Attorney Murthy : We were told it would be out last Friday, July 18, 2003. Apparently, it has to go through some levels of scrutiny before it can be released, so it may take another few weeks. Already, the April 2002 Efren Hernandez letter may provide some help to those whose I-140 petitions may have been revoked. Also, some people were confused. Based on discussions of Bill Yates, Fujie Ohata, and Mr. Hernandez during AILA conferences, and the language of the letter, the relevant 180 days would appear to be only when the BCIS revokes the I-140, and not the date that the employer requests the BCIS to revoke the I-140 petition on behalf of the original sponsored employee.
