I am on H1B valid till 2007. My company is filing my labor from Maine, and we as per the attorneys advice would be opting for consular processing at Mumbai consulate.The papers are to be submitted by the weekend.
I would appreciate if i could get some insight on consular processing.
1) what are the benefits over adjustment of status
2) is it true that i can leave for india once i get labor approval?
3) is the interview at the consulate technical and tough?
4) what is the rejection percentage.
i am confused and scared. so help me asap!
