This tells us 99% of 485 applicants are just silent visitors and they are here just for the info and am sure they hardly post on rupnet either. so what we see here and in rupnet is nothing what is actually happening. My opinion.

well 99% nothing happens for 485

I agree upto certain extent, well take my case here , there is nothing happening in my case for last one and half year. So nothing to post about the case other than rupnet statistics here.

So most of the times( 98%) I do view , may be 2% I do posting (that to If I find some interesting stuff some where).

I believe it is the nature of 485 and on top that it is from NSC :( .
Thanks to all for their posts, hope I will get a chance to post my case status change info in near future.

waiting_4_485 forever.

I guess, yeah, there is nothing to post for months in this I485 process. (its so freakingly sick). But I guess a lot of people really do find strength and hope by visiting this site daily.

I mean I work for a mean-ass desi body shop. I remember sending my I485 app papers to my lawyers exactly two years back. They filed my application 3 months later.. (RD 10/26/2001).

So many of us should be @ the 2 yr wait period in this last stage itself. We have to constantly worry about our projects ending, Bush and Co. making new stupid rules. I mean ending INS and it becoming BCIS .. that was so crazy. And then these 1-2 months work stoppages at BCIS, sending silly RFE's , lawyers taking 2-3 months just to respond. Its sick.

Anyways, today I was really thinking that with so much outsourcing to India, things must really have changed since we all left the country. It wont be a bad idea going back after all. Anyways, I cannot see IT being as exciting and full of opportunities as it was from lets say 1996 - 2000.

Very well agree Jayakar...

Still 'Mera Bharat Mahan', Bindash and no worries ... what-so-ever.

I know many of my friends who have recently gone back, are really really happy. So... not a bad idea...

hey guys don't loose heart ....just hang'in there...our chance will also come..going back to India is not a big deal..no body is stoping us...but well think of coming back again...!!!! Its not pre y2k scenario now that one can come back...anytime....soooo be positive...and keep smiling...:)

When one says to go back to India it should not end with a clause when can we come back. Individual is frustrated and then takes a decision to go back not that one is taking vacation. People whoever is going back I should say have got guts to do that. It has never been easy to take such a decision during no forceful events happening in life that may dictate to go back.

To Ghee with respect.....

Ghee...
How do you make time to conduct these dump analysis... :)

Anyway, Keep up the goood work. I enjoy your postings.

all viewers please ....

enter your info at rupnet.com so that we get better statistics about NSC movement.

the numbers could be misleading

Just because the number of "viewings" are many, it doesnt mean that the number of "viewers" are that many. I read the same message (ofcourse for various postings) many times. And each time it is counted as a viewing..

pshiha, I visit this site 4-5 times a day.

Sometime it is fun to analyze existing info(no matter how dumb it is) than to follow rumors.

Thanks for your comment.
