Some details about Montreal Consulate, please

Hi,
I came across this board a couple of days back and found it really good.
I have an IV interview coming up in Montreal next month.
I will be travelling to Montreal from out of town just for the day, and would like to know if anyone knows if my bag (overnight bag) will be allowed inside the Consulate or if they have a place to store it.
I don\'t know where I will be able to leave the bag otherwise.

it depends

How big is the bag. If it is a reasonable size they will let it in. If not you can find a hotel (up the street) and see if you can leave it with the porter.

You could try and take it with you. If they don\'t let it in you could then take it to a hotel. The problem with this is that you will loose your place in line. ie you will have to wait longer.
