Some Basic but Important Questions

Hi All

I need to get some info about the following :

Ques : If someone gets laid off after 6 months of I-485 (having EAD, finger printing done but waiting for final approval).

a. What would be the Status.
b. Can he/she work on the basis of the EAD. If so could it be a permanant job or a contract position.
c. Would the processing of I-485 still continue.
d. Should the INS need to be informed.
e. any other concerns or repurcussions.

Your status is still adjustee... you need to find a similar job very quick to continue your case... AC21 should apply for you once you find a similar job before they approve/deny your case...
