Some advice please

Hi,

I recently became a US citizen. I have two questions:
1- My spouse is not in the USA. We applied for I-130 and got approved; I am in the process of upgrading the I-130 application with NVC. How will long, on average, will it take for my spouse to get a visa and come to the USA? Any experience with the Embassy in Jordan?

2- Does FBI Name check applies to applicants like my spouse here
 
I can't tell you much about the K1 process (I think thats what you are talking about?), but I know I've seen tons of posts about it at www.visajourney.com. Seems like most of the people over there went the K1/K3 process and have all the Timelines in their signatures. (it looks very complicated!) They also have a graph on the site where all the statistics are plotted out. Until someone here who knows the process can get back to you, might want to take a look on the other website.
