Hello, here are my questions.

We are currently in US and stuck for retro. We are not just thinking of a contigence plan to move to Can but rather really would like to settle down up there.

Here are my questions:

We are expecting our first child in 2 months time. should we wait until she is borned before we go for the CAN PR application? or I can start it up now and adding our new born child info later on? If we wait, do I need to get her a passport before filing?

My child will be having a US passport, but if we turn ourselves to Canada, will she loss her US passport?

We have some 401K $$ and as well as SS $$ contributed to the US in the last 5 years of hardworking. Can we withdraw or transfer those $$ to Can?

Thanks in advance! :)

Can Apply Before the childs birth

You surely can apply now. Your child's passport won't be an issue at all. When the child is delivered, you can let the authorities know about it. I know a lot of us do NOT even worry about it, until we move to Canada. Hope this helps
