hello,

my h1 is approved and i am currently in my o.p.t period in f1 visa- should i be informing the social security regarding my change of status-has anybody done this before guide me

SSA does not care about your status. You need not inform them.

Although you might have to change the I-9 form with your employer to reflect the status.
