sobriety code 5

Hello,

I was in an accident last year (I was not at fault). My driving record from DMV shows the accident with "Sobriety Code = 5". I called up DMV; they say it means "Had not been drinking" [you bet!!]. But when I asked if there is any official document which gives that as the xplanation of "code 5", she said nope.

What should I do if USCIS seeks an explanation? Anybody been in this situation before??

Thanx.

What state (I'm guessing California, since a web search for "sobriety code" turns up a lot of references)?

Have you searched the web to find out if the code is explained anywhere? Failing that, have you asked the DMV if they have a document that explains the codes?

Of course, I'd hope that the IO has seen enough DMV records for the state in which he lives that he is able to read them.

I am curious, why would you need to present your driving record. If you say that you were not at fault, and were never charged with an offence, you don't even need to mention it.
