...just trying to get my gray matters to start working again now that there could be a glimmer at the end of the tortuous tunnel:
(Note that all estimates are approximate, at best)
First, NSC per (working) day receives 450 I-485's. This is equivalent to (at least) three (3) times an entire month on Rupnet (between 100-160 during latter part of 2001 and earlier part of 2002).
Now, let's assume that if NSC were to proceed in a linear manner (trying to make sense of a highly non-linear function in a linear way is by itself insanity, but please bear with me), they'll clear a month's backlog in just that - that is, a month, and so forth.
Hence, it could follow that they'll clear 450 I-485's a day (still breathing?) at NSC. This means per day we should see on Rupnet an approval of 6 to 7 backlogged cases.
(1 day at NSC = 3 X 30 days on Rupnet
Considering there are about 22 working days in a month, this amounts to (roughly) 10000 cases at NSC versus a50 at Rupnet, or a ratio of 67:1)
Well, we'll see if that is the case...
Also, any inputs?
